Liberty Matball

Please join us at our display table at Freedom High School starting at 5:30 for Liberty's Matball fundraiser. We will also be participating in the opening flag ceremony starting at 6pm.

It's Sockball battle time!!

This Friday at 7pm at Vine and Branches Church we'll have our December Pack meeting. Our annual sockball battle is both fun (for Scouts and adults alike) and charitable!

Make sure to bring a pack of new white socks. Open the pack, roll each pair together into a "ball", and put all of them in a shopping bag to bring.

We will also present our top selling popcorn sale Scouts with their awards.

The Pack Fall Carnival, our most popular fall event, is coming up this Friday, November 21st, starting at 7pm at Vine and Branches Church (25615 Lennox Hale Drive)

With carnival games, fresh popcorn, and raffle prizes, you won't want to miss it.

At the end of the evening, Scouts will receive their Pinewood Derby car kits!

We still need a couple parents to assist with set up and the snack table (with plenty of free popcorn from the popcorn machine!)

We’ll also be collecting the donations for the stocking drive Vine and Branches is doing for the assisted living home. I will have a bin at the meeting to put donations in. The list is below:

Scouting for Food is coming up very soon next weekend! On Saturday November 1st we will distribute bags with special post-its on them door to door, providing instructions to community members. Community members will then fill the bags with food donations and leave them out on their front step for us to pick up the next weekend, November 8th.

Dikan Patel is our Scouting for Food coordinator. Please head to the SignUpGenius he developed to sign up for a shift for bag distribution Nov. 1 or food pick-up/sorting the next weekend Nov. 8th.

Thanks for everyone who came out to our first Pack meeting Friday! The kids had a lot of fun. For our parents, here is the link to the online PDF version of the Youth Protection Parent's Guide: https://filestore.scouting.org/filestore/pdf/100-014_web.pdf

This guide is included as a hard copy with all Cub Scout workbooks and handbooks. Remember, this is largely for parents to read through. However, the blue highlighted sections are for you to go over with your Scouts. This part is a mandatory requirement to complete the Bobcat Adventure for all ages/rank levels. Complete it as soon as possible! You can then go into Scoutbook (which you can access through one of the links in the top right of your my.Scouting account. Alternatively, just let your den leader know and they can complete it for you!

Our first Pack meeting of 2025-2026 is coming up this Friday, September 26th starting at 7pm in the Liberty School gym. Troop 682 will be running games for our Scouts while we have a parent orientation. We will also award our Scouts summer activities with the awards they earned at summer day camp and for participating in summer events.

If you were not able to turn in your dues worksheet and dues for the year, please get them in at this meeting or our next in mid October.

Join Scouting Night for all new and prospective Scouts, will be Thursday September 4th, from 7-8pm in the Liberty Elementary School Cafeteria

For returning Scouts and families, we will also have a Rejoin Scouting Night two days earlier on Tuesday September 2nd from 6:30 to 7:30, to help get you reregistered with Pack 910 for the upcoming year.
