Pack 910 serves the South Riding community, especially through Liberty, Cardinal Ridge, and Hutchison Farms elementary schools.

Most of our Pack meetings take place at Liberty Elementary School on Riding Center drive in South Riding at 7pm on one of the last Fridays of the month.

In addition to Pack meetings, we also have two campouts a year in the early fall and mid spring. We hold at least 3-4 community service projects/events during the year.

Our Pinewood Derby in late January is our biggest event, where the kids build wooden cars and race them down a track. All families are invited, we have catered breakfast, and it's a great time to celebrate the kids.

Other big events we have include our fall carnival in November with games, prizes, and a raffle, and the Blue and Gold dinner in February which has a catered dinner and entertainment (we have had bingo night, a magician, and a reptile show in recent years). We also have an outdoor family campfire program complete with s'mores in April or early May.

One unique thing about our Pack is that we do involve a couple of our local Scouts BSA troops in our Pack meetings, specifically Troops 682 and 1430. Scouts BSA troops lead games and activites at a couple of our Pack meetings, work on skills with our Cub Scouts on some camping trips, and help the kids prepare skits and songs at the spring campfire.

Cub Scouts is just a first step in a long and rewarding journey through the Scouting program. We believe strongly in our younger Scouts seeing older Scouts in positions of leadership and guidance and for older Scouts to give back.

Below are some photos of our Pack in action!

Our Pinewood Derby is one of our biggest events of the year. Scouts build their own wooden cars and race them down a track. Scouts can win prizes based on design or speed.

We have two campouts during the year, one in the fall and another in spring. In the great outdoors, we do hikes, play games, and work on skills like first aid.

We also do lots of other engaging activities like archery and BB gun at summer day camp, local fishing trips, and climbing walls!

Community service is a big part of Scouting. Our Scouts participate in local and national events like Wreaths Across America, Scouting for Food (benefitting local food pantries), and trash clean-ups.

Cub Scouting has a large focus on family. We support family bonding with our big events like the Blue and Gold Dinner, our Fall Carnival, and the Pinewood Derby.

Overall, our Scouts learn to be leaders and how to be good and conscientious citizens.
